Child and Teen Adjustment Support Program
Our Child Adjustment Support program, led by Dr. Edan Alcalay—an experienced, well-trained child psychologist—helps kids navigate the move to a two-home family with confidence. Through age-appropriate, play-based sessions, we teach emotion naming, coping skills, and problem-solving, while guiding parents to create consistent routines across households. The result: calmer transitions, stronger communication, and children who feel safe, seen, and better adjusted in both homes.

Parent guidance (parallel, not couples therapy): Brief coaching to align house rules, transitions, and communication; guidance on language to use with kids; coordination with other professionals if needed (teachers, pediatricians, attorneys, GALs).
-
Two-home planning: Concrete plans for exchanges, school nights, holidays, and digital communication to give children predictability.
-
Progress checkpoints: Short reviews every 3–4 sessions to refine goals and measure gains.
