Divorce Stablization
Calm the Storm. Chart the Course.
Service Description
Our Divorce Stabilization Program is a short-term, highly structured pathway designed to help you regain clarity, reduce emotional reactivity, and make sound, values-aligned decisions during a difficult transition. Instead of letting stress drive the process, we slow things down, organize your priorities, and equip you with practical tools you can use immediately—so each step is deliberate, child-centered when applicable, and grounded in your long-term goals. We typically meet for 6–8 focused sessions. In Session 1, we identify your most urgent concerns (sleep, anxiety spikes, co-parenting flashpoints, legal deadlines) and establish safety and stability. You’ll learn rapid relief skills to calm the nervous system, improve sleep, and stop spiraling thoughts. In Session 2–3, we clarify values and map decisions using simple frameworks that cut through noise and reduce second-guessing. We define “non-negotiables,” “nice-to-haves,” and realistic timelines so you can choose your next right step with confidence. Communication is a core focus. You’ll practice concise, low-conflict messages (using tools like BIFF/WEB) and meeting agendas that keep discussions on track. We’ll create scripts for exchanges, transitions, and boundary setting, with special attention to protecting children from being in the middle. If co-parenting is high conflict, we outline parallel-parenting routines to reduce contact while safeguarding routines and attachment. Because divorce is a whole-person stressor, we integrate health and wellness coaching where helpful—steady energy, nutrition basics under stress, movement, and micro-habits that support resilience. These aren’t lofty ideals; they’re 5-minute practices that make the rest of your day more manageable. As a SMART Resilience trainer, I’ll teach skills that improve focus under pressure and keep you anchored to your plan when emotions run high. Each session ends with a brief action plan you can implement between visits. We track progress with simple metrics (sleep quality, conflict frequency, decision completion), adjust quickly, and remove obstacles as they show up. When needed, we coordinate with attorneys, mediators, or financial professionals to align your therapeutic goals with the practical realities of your case—without offering legal advice and without engaging in forensic roles. By the end, you’ll have: (1) a calmer nervous system and reliable daily routines; (2) a clear decision roadmap for legal, financial, and parenti
